Hollow Woodworks, founded in 1985 by Dan and Becky Ovens, is a children’s wooden puzzle brand. In Missouri, our journey began when we built a puzzle stool from the barn of our farm. Meanwhile, the barn was located in a hollow, thus giving it a unique name.

In 2003, after Jim took over the brand, our product line expanded from the signature name puzzles to much more. However, the production standards and quality remain the same.

Our interesting range of products includes name puzzles, coat racks, rocking chairs, toys, and toy boxes.

At Hollow Woodworks, we use top-quality paints (Made in the US) containing no harmful chemicals, thus making them safe for children. Other than this, our wood is sourced locally and is FSC®-certified.

Losing puzzle pieces is a common scenario when children play around. And, we go beyond to replace those missing pieces with no questions asked.
