Jenson Natural Jewelry opened for business in 2017 when Kristine Jenson found that her creations were in demand among her family, friends, and community. She began her jewelry designs with mala necklaces - Buddhist prayer beads. She learned the traditional Buddhist methods and fell in love with the act of designing and creating these beautiful pieces of art. As others learned about her work, she expanded into creating bracelets, earrings, and more traditional necklaces. She uses only natural gemstones and works with ethical gemstone suppliers so as to fulfill her desire to honor the earth through her business. She uses Jenson Natural Jewelry as a vehicle to share the legacy of her beloved niece Devon, who died at age 3.5 due to a congenital heart defect. She donates 10% of her profits to Children's Hospital MN in her memory as well as to other non-profits.
