Prodigal Pottery is a brand proudly committed to creating opportunities for women who are rebuilding their lives after experiencing horrors like homelessness, domestic abuse, and sex trafficking.

Founded in 2014, our mission revolves around three tasks: to equip, employ, and empower women in need while honoring the values of dignity and hope.

We operate directly out of a shelter near Birmingham, Alabama, called the King’s Home. With this, we aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment for women transitioning from crisis to stability.

Our skilled team is composed of 14 women, many of whom have faced significant life challenges themselves.

The team handcrafts exquisite pottery that represents their resilience, along with the transformation that we support. Also, customers can purchase high-quality bowls, plates, mugs, saucers, dinner sets, and Christmas-themed ornaments.

Along with employment, we also offer critical resources for financial literacy, emotional healing, and readiness for the job market to strengthen their futures. Ultimately, our greatest joy is to see the women we work with walk into their futures with confidence.
