But for millions of women around the world, it is a problem. Especially those with certain faith practices that require water to reach the nail during ritual washing. Most brands never bother to bat an eyelash. But we are different. We built a whole company just to address this issue.

Maya Cosmetics launched in 2016 with a reformulated molecular structure. A formula that is loose, open, and allows water and oxygen to pass through the nail itself. The side effect turned out to be a bigger story - stronger, better-conditioned nails and real support for growth on weak or damaged ones.

Physician-tested, PETA-certified, Vegan, Gluten-free, Halal-certified, and cruelty-free from day one, not retrofitted later for a certification badge. The formula now sits on shelves in over 100 independent retailers, such as salons, pharmacies, boutiques, and gift shops, and ships to 40 countries.

We also source roughly 40% of our ingredients through fair trade. For retailer partners, that is a rare thing - a genuine science story wrapped in genuine ethics and a customer base.
