A contact can be categorized as a vendor or a customer. Choose the contact type (vendor or customer) cautiously as the system won’t allow any changes in contact type once created. To create a new contact specify the currency in which you want to deal with that contact. You have to handle that contact only with the mentioned currency.

By creating a contact you will get all the data related to the buying and selling process. With this feature, you can generate invoices and sales orders for your customers and bills with purchase orders for vendors. You can add and import as many contacts as you need following your business requirements. You can opt for a contact preference for an item. If you want to buy an item from a specific vendor you can prioritize that vendor by adding the item’s information to your system. You can activate or inactive a created account as per your needs. If there is a linked transaction history (SO, PO, invoice, etc.) you won’t be able to delete the contact.
